Tipsy Cakes Bakery Turns Cake into Art: MyFoxCHICAGO.com

Baker Naomi Levine has made cakes of all shapes and sizes over the years. She employs artists to have creativity in her kitchen.

Some wacky examples of Tipsy Cake creations include a sushi cake, hamburger cake, Brian from Family Guy and a steak, mash potato and bottle of wine cake ordered by Mike Ditka.

When asked about the wildest cake she made, Levine said, “One of the ones that comes to mind is, well, a nose. A literal nose. Nothing else. Delivered to Ritz Carlton for a nose doctor.”

From their base in Humboldt Park, Tipsy Cake can deliver just about anywhere.

“We did an African monument for the president of Senegal. It was 3 feet tall,” Levine said.

Apart from the beautiful decorations, the cake tastes delicious and comes in almost any flavor.

“That’s what Chicago needed, a little more creativity, and the people are loving it. They’re eating it up; they’re loving it, it’s really great,” Levine said.
