BEST CAKES EVER

We bought one cake from Tipsy Cake for a baby shower, and a second for a big birthday bash. Both were perfect; well beyond my expectations.

The baby shower cake was lady baltimore white cake, with strawberries. Best tasting cake I've ever indulged in. Everyone, including the mom-to-be, loved it. The shower was at a restaurant; the pastry chef there complimented the cake on its structuring. Nice feeling, to have your cake complimented by a pro:)

The birthday cake was custom, shaped like a champagne bottle in an ice bucket. It was so beautifully crafted that many guests thought it was real until pointed out otherwise. Nearly a year later, people still talk about the cake - gorgeous and delicious!
 

Elmo!

We ordered an Elmo cake for my son's 2nd birthday from Tipsy Cake and we could not have been more impressed with the end result. The cake was beautiful, it was huge, it was perfectly Elmo in shape and color, and our son loved it! On top of the high quality product, the cake was delivered promptly at 9am on a Sunday morning. Thank you Tipsy Cake, we can't wait for our next event so that you can bake us something else extraordinary.

Like many other happy clients, I too was initially thrown off by Tipsy Cake's (as Winnie N. puts it) bipolar reviews. But because i had several other wedding vendors refer me to Tipsy Cake as well, I figured I shoot the store an email and see what this company was all about.

Naomi was super prompt in her responses, and invited my fiancé, my dad and me into the shop for a tasting. Now Naomi can vouch for this, but I LOVE cake and I am super picky. We sat down for the tasting and i was just blown away. The buttercream flavors were just out of this world, and for the first time on earth i tasted an actually edible fondant.

And not only were the flavors amazing, but Naomi was (and still is) as sweet as her cakes. This super cute Aussie knows her stuff and has a talented group of bakers/decorators to back her up. On top of that, her prices are super affordable despite her work being at the same level if not higher than several of the city's "high-end" bakeries.

In addition to my wedding cake (soooooo beautiful), Naomi's team created a Mickey Mouse head shaped cake for my rehearsal, and beautiful two-tier buttercream cake for my bridal shower and a supercute Valentine's Day basket delivered to my hubby. Everything was amazing and exactly what i had asked for.

Naomi has always been super responsive and attentive to her work. I just don't see how anyone can say anything negative about her. She's such a sweet person, and I am so glad I had the opportunity to meet her. I will be coming back here for my custom cake needs for many celebrations to come.
